We are Room 6, an I Class at Carlton School, Wanganui. We have 14 girls and 12 boys in our classroom. Penny is our mascot who helps us live through the Habits of the Mind.
Room 6 has been learning about the sport of Handball as part of their P.E focus. We have been learning about the rules and today we learnt how to throw a handball correctly, this teaches us speed and accuracy. Watch the video!
We really enjoyed playing hand ball but maybe Room 5 should watch the clip before they play next time- it might help them in their next match with Room 6! Ms W
WOW I never new that handball was a sport. That video clip was cool it must be a very hard sport to play and the players would have to be very, very fit.

ReplyDeleteHandball looks like a very hard sport. I think the people that do it are very fit.
ReplyDeleteHi Room 6,
ReplyDeleteHandball looks like it could be lots of fun - some of you should challenge the teachers and parents to a game during our Olympic week!
P.S. Don't say it was me who suggested it!!!!
Have a great time smashing the ball with accuracy and precision - Go Room 6 - YAY!!!!
